Food Is Good, InTheBurg

Quietly over the holidays, a tasty transition occurred at 116 Magnolia Street. Kutay and Hulya Ozer purchased the restaurant, and have big plans for its future.Formerly known as The Flat (a Spartanburg location of the Greenville burger restaurant,) the restaurant is now rebranded as Local Food Is Good, or Local F.I.G. for short.The staff and much of the previous concept will remain, but expect cozier, Southern cuisine menu additions and more events.“'We have three different platforms, we have a bar downstairs where people can come watch a football game or come have a late-night drink. We have a kind of sort of separation in the back room, more like a family atmosphere where kids, families, fans can eat a burger and have fun. And the upstairs is more like the young people.
