Keep OneSpartanburg Beautiful

Keep OneSpartanburg Beautiful, a Spartanburg Chamber campaign affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, aims to prevent litter, reduce waste, and beautify our County. The campaign is responsible for previous organized community clean-up days, in City of Spartanburg, Town of Chesnee, Town of Cowpens, and City of Woodruff. In early 2020, Keep OneSpartanburg Beautiful announced six countywide recipients of nearly $15,000 worth of Community Impact Grants-- for signage, clean-up, and revitalization projects. These recipients included beautification grants for:

  1. Forest Park Neighborhood Association: Marquee restoration
  2. Country Club Springs Community: Dead tree and overgrowth removal
  3. Converse Heights Neighborhood Association: Enhanced entrance markers
  4. Hampton Heights Neighborhood Association: Landscaping improvements
  5. South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind: Landscaping improvements
  6. City of Woodruff: Welcome signs with new branding
