  • Health in Hand- Smoothie & Juice Bar (201 Wall St, 5854 Reidville Rd) Smoothies, bowls, and juice cleanses- oh my! Health in Hand opened in downtown Spartanburg in 2015, adding its Tyger River location in 2022. The fresh, vegan-friendly menu is served across both stores, seven days a week.

  • Hub City Farmacy (3087 East Main St Ext)— Hub City Farmacy makes delicious food easy to obtain, offering family-size or individual meals by delivery. New menus are released weekly on Wednesdays that can be customized to keto, paleo, low-calorie, diabetic-friendly, heart-healthy, plant-based, or weight-loss needs.

  • Lean Kitchen Company (142 Magnolia St)— This nationwide healthy meal prep business opened its Spartanburg location in 2022, offering keto and protein-packed grab-n-go meals and delivery, as well as pre-workout options.

  • Flow State Spartanburg (1802 Drayton Rd)- Meditate on both ends of the temperature spectrum, with Flow State’s cold plunge tubs and sauna. The breathwork studio shares a location with Habit Beverage Lounge, serving coffee, smoothies, mushroom based beverages, CBD tonics, and craft, domestic, and NA beer.

  • Yogaunme, (1111 WO Ezell Blvd)— This inclusive yoga collective for all skill levels and body types offers a variety of meditative practices a workshops, from restorative yin and silent retreats, to drum circles and martial arts.

  • Burn Boot Camp (1802 Drayton Rd)— Burn Boot Camp focuses on nutrition and community health through strength training, a variety of class times and skill levels, including women-only workout options and drop-in childcare.

  • Craft Axe Throwing (226-D West Main St)— Burn off some competitive energy at this ten-lane venue located below Rockers Brewing Co. Target lanes are reserved by the hour or available by walk-up, Tuesday through Sunday.

  • CYCLEBAR (120 West Saint John St)— Get your heart rate pumping, with daily bike reservations at the high-energy studio, also offering music-themed classes and events.

  • Pure Barre (1200 East Main St)— Build full-body strength through low-impact, high-intensity workouts for all fitness levels. Tone muscles through studio classes inspired by yoga, Pilates, and ballet.

Hit Your Goals & Get Your Gains Outdoors

  • Croft State Park (450 Croft State Park Rd)— With year-round park admission, seasonal kayaking and canoeing, campsites, and more than 45-miles of trails, there's always a new path to explore. Croft also offers a 12.6-mile segment of the statewide Palmetto Trail.

  • Duncan Park Bike Trails (1000 Duncan Park Dr)— Duncan Park neighborhood is home to six miles of paved and unpaved hiking and biking trails around the scenic lake, throughout the 102-acre community park. The trails feature smooth jumps and pump turns on one-way routes, for riders of all skill levels to explore. Pack a picnic, and enjoy the park's tennis courts and playground.

  • Lake Cooley Outdoor Education Center (100 Cooley Dock Rd)- Get out on the water, with seasonal kayak and paddleboard rentals at Lake Cooley for the whole family! Spartanburg County Parks & Recreation hosts frequent paddling events during the summer.

  • Mary Black Foundation Rail Trail— This 1.9-miles of former-railroad-tracks-turned-trail is home to Vic Bailey Subaru Bike Park, Panthers Play60, Hot Spot skate park, fitness equipment, and more.

  • Want more trails? Check out PAL Spartanburg’s broader Daniel Morgan Trail System, aka “The DAN,” with 55-miles of planned inter-connecting trails countywide.
