Get The Scoop: Ten Must-Visit Ice Creameries InTheBurg

We don’t need a reason to enjoy a delicious ice cream sundae, but if you’re looking for an excuse, here’s a great one: July is National Ice Cream Month, and National Ice Cream Day is the 3rd Sunday in July.

Choosing which flavor to savor is almost as difficult as choosing a shop! Here’s ten of our favorite creameries:

Did you know that Averie’s Ice Cream Shoppe was started by Holmes Catering? The business behind Take It Holmes gourmet meals to-go has a westside location (1930 Old Reidville Rd,) and combined their Inman location under one roof with Averie’s. The eatery-sweetery combo is open seven days a week.
