Fourth Of July Festivities

The annual Red, White, & Boom celebration may be canceled this year due to social distancing regulations, but there's still ways to celebrate the Fourth of July at individual outdoor businesses.Check out these nine weekend events:

July 3rd: Getting In The Patriotic Mood

CD's BBQ & Catering: 3155 Peachtree Rd, Chesnee

Let Freedom Ring Celebration (4pm-9:30pm) FREEFireworks, a karaoke competition, delicious barbecue, a cornhole tournament, and more-- all outdoors in Chesnee at CD's BBQ & Catering!

Dray: Bar + Grill: 1800 Drayton Rd, Suite 301, Spartanburg

Steakout On The Patio (5pm-10pm) RESERVATIONS ENCOURAGEDKick off the 4th of July weekend at Drayton Mills, with live music, games, and "meat the chef" custom-carved steak specials on Dray: Bar + Grill's patio. No fireworks here; Dray's patio and event are dog-friendly!

Shipwreck Cove: 119 South Spencer St, Duncan

Star Spangled Splash (7pm-10pm) $10 PER PERSONEnjoy an after-hours fireworks display at Spartanburg's own waterpark! Park admission for the special event can be purchased in advance and picked up at will call: (864)949-0290. Overflow seating for the event is available at Stoneledge Park.

Piedmont Interstate Fairgrounds: 575 Fairgrounds Rd, Spartanburg

Independence Day Festival (7pm-11pm) $20+Purple Madness, a Prince experience band, will perform live at the Fairgrounds, at this socially-distanced drive-in event. Food trucks will be on-site. Doors open at 6pm.

July 4th: Celebrating America

City of Landrum: 211 North Trade Ave, Landrum

Music At The Tracks (7pm-10pm) FREECity of Landrum's family-friendly, outdoor music series continues weekly, with live music at the historic Train Depot.

First Baptist North Spartanburg: 8740 Asheville Hwy, Spartanburg

Fireworks at First (7:30pm-9pm) FREEBring a chair and your family, for fireworks and food vendors at First Baptist North Spartanburg. The parking lot opens at 7:30pm, and fireworks start at sundown.

Fr8yard: 125 East Main St, Spartanburg

Livin' In America (12pm-11pm) FREEFr8yard's family- and dog-friendly event will feature a full day of biergarten fun, with three bands on-stage and food and drink specials. Entry is free, but yard admittance is restricted to 50%, so arrive early!

Holliday Brewing: 1802 Drayton Rd, Suite 125, Spartanburg

4th of July at Holliday (7pm-10pm) FREEEnjoy a pint of locally-brewed craft beer at Drayton Mills, with live music on the patio from Remedy 58.

New Groove Artisan Brewery: 4078 Hwy 9, Boiling Springs

Groovy Celebration of Independence: Red, White, & Groove (3pm-11pm) FREEEnjoy live music from four bands on New Groove's outdoor stage, with groovy slushies, barbecue, and locally-brewed beer pints. Social distancing is encouraged outside with your own lawn chairs or tents, with indoor occupancy requirements enforced. The free event is open to all ages, however guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent.
