Spartanburg has FIVE local breweries, and while taprooms are open with CDC guidelines, you may feel more comfortable drinking your favorite pint at home for some social distancing fun on the porch.Don't forget your masks! The Governor's most recent executive order (that went into effect August 3rd) requires masks for all bar and restaurant staff AND customers, when not actively eating or drinking. Whether you're drinking in their taprooms or taking your brews to-go, wear a mask when waiting at the bar, waiting on a table, and when walking to the bathrooms.But now, for the reason you're reading this...

New Groove gets creative in their flavors and brewing process. Look out for upcoming releases in honor of their third anniversary, including the popular Angry Tomato Monster, made with local tomatoes, jalapenos, and fresh basil.Bites: In addition to their daily kitchen specials, such as smoked briskets, beer cheese brats, and wings, you can now order New Groove's 10" soft pretzels and beer-boiled peanuts to-go.

RJ Rockers Brewery: 226 West Main St, Spartanburg

Open: 3pm-10pm Tuesday-Friday; 11am-10pm SaturdayBrews: Find your favorite RJ classic brews in 6-pack cans, $30 cases, or draft refills of 32oz crowlers or 64oz growlers. Crowler fills of all beers are $10; (high gravity pours are $13.)For a limited time, RJ Rockers is partnering with the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce's Bringing Back the Burg initiative. $1 of each limited-edition crowler purchased is donated to the Small Business Fund.Bites: The RJ Rockers kitchen has a full, revamped menu of small bites, wings, handhelds, salads, flatbreads, and even "half pint" kids' meals to choose from.
